Lies, damned lies and statistics. To chase his lady love, our man resorts to what he thinks are ingenious ways - lies. She does some fund raising and he lands in more trouble with her by getting his figures wrong. Everything seems to go wrong all the time for him. And you end up getting a feeling that something has gone wrong with the film.
w: Satya (Esther) can't shake off this guy who will not even consider the fact that she is engaged to be married to a different boy. However, their tastes and interests happens to be the same as they realise. That is when Satya's fiance chooses to go out of her life so that she can marry the man who is so much interested in her. And so, Satya marries Satya (Sairam Shankar). Yes, he has the same name.
If you think that is the end of the story, wait. They split, part, and divorce. The reason: Satya suspects her husband of having an affair with a girl from his office.
Ah! If you thought you could get away now, there's more to the bubblegum story. Everything is now leading to Satya meeting Satya again. Eventually, to get together again. Hold on, don't go away. If your question is: Now what? Patience, my dear, Watson.
Our hero has got another job on hand. For the `manipulator' that he is, his ex-wife wants help from him in exposing a minister who has raped her friend. So, Satya, the man, gets an opportunity to display his smartness and also his bashing up skills. Funny, the hero suggests that he has to do some bashing up just so that he could please his fans if any, even if they are as not many as Mahesh Babu's. And then one gets to hear from the hero that it is not just him but everyone is prone to telling lies, so it is not right to only point the finger at him as a liar.
Sairam Shankar has a role that gives him the ease to perform while Esther will surely feel tired of herself if she watched her movie. Music director Ramana Gogula is the one who walks away with all the appreciation. There's bounce in his music and is a great reliever. Nagababu's character as `Tower star' is one saving grace.
There's a warning in a newspaper advertisement to publicise the film. It says one with a weak heart should not watch the movie lest the jokes and the humour take a toll on them. That is the 1001st lie.
Teja is the director of the movie but did not see his signature anywhere throughout the movie.
