Times of India
With poor script, confusing narration, bad editing that does not link sequences properly, too many characters, turns and twists, director Giriraj has reduced it to a cock and bull story. There is romance between Vivek (Ajai Rao) and Ambika (Harshika Poonacha), love-hate relationship between underworld dons Harsha (Achuthkumar) and Sudarshan (Neenasam Ashwath), kidnap of the heroine, drug transportation and so much of bloodshed. Totally, the movie makes you sick as you don't understand what the director wants to say.
Added to this is the wrong placement of a couple of songs for which Veer Samarth has scored poor music. Except for Achuthkumar, others have failed to live up to the expectation. It's a wrong choice of subject by the director who came to limelight with Jatta.
Director Sathish Pradhan has neatly captured the rollercoaster ride of a young girl who aspires to become a film star. Reality hits hard when she finds film personalities blatantly seeking sexual favours from her.
Sumanth Shailendra, the debut hero with matured acting, has given life to the story from the beginning to the end. Director BN Vijayakumar's narration is fresh as he has treated the story in a different way.
