Times of India
Director Ghanashyam has selected a romantic subject and narrated in a dramatic way to drive home the point the positive and negative sides of the romance. Though the intention is good, he could have avoided many ghastly scenes and end the climax on a happy note. He has excellently captured the travails and traumas of a girl and a boy who fall in love with each other, but develop differences as the girl falls in loves with another boy. The story develops interestingly till the director brings a bloody end to the love story.
Anu (Harshika Poonacha) and Gautham (Srikanth) fall in love with each other till the latter finds the former fighting for petty reasons and for not being able to get a job. Fed up of Gautham, she falls in love with Puneeth (Vaibhav Neel). Gautham is upset. She catches both Anu and Puneeth, takes them to a lonely place and harasses them by tying into a pole. Gautham, not able to bear the harassment, leaves Anu and goes away from the spot. Anu is just left with Gautham now. What does she do now? There is a dramatic end to the story.
While Srikanth has done a good job as a frustrated lover, Harshika could have done a better job. Veena Sundar is graceful as mother of Gautham. Anup Sileen's muisc has some lovely numbers. Muralidhar's camerawork is good.
