Babu Baga Busy Story : Babu Baga Busy, a remake of the 2015 Bollywood film Hunterr, follows the life of a sex addict, Maddy aka Madhav (Srinivas Avasarala). When Maddy falls in love with Radha (Mishti Chakraborthy), the conflict between his unusual sexual behavior and his love for the girl that surfaces through a series of events forms the crux of the film.

Babu Baga Busy Review : Although as an adult comedy Babu Baga Busy garnered a lot of interest, the director was anything but bold with this film. He stuck so closely to the original that there isn’t much to watch in the Telugu remake.

It seemed like Srinivas Avasarala was shouldering the whole responsibility of the film. And although he has so far seen in wholesome family entertainers, the actor got into the character of a sex addict pretty well. Actress Mishti, on the other hand, looked good on screen, but her performance is forgettable and the same went for Tejaswi Madivada as ‘Paru Menon’.

Sreemukhi’s cameo was a treat for her fans, while Supriya Aysola managed to do her role as Chandrika convincingly. But in the end, they were nothing more than just pretty faces.

The movie’s screenplay is just plain annoying as it goes back and forth into Madhav’s childhood and his present. While these flashbacks do give us an insight into his past flings with Paru Menon (Tejaswi) and a married neighbor Chandrika (Supriya Aysola), they can be quite boring for the viewer. Some of the episodes depicted in the movie are also too crass, and may only go well with the audiences of B and C centres.

Music by Sunil Kashyap, however, adds flavor to the movie. Production quality is okay, considering that this is a mainstream debut for the Abhishek Nama.

Overall, the movie has nothing much to offer. The comedy falls flat. The story fails to engage the viewer. The majority of cast’s performances are vapid. For people who have seen the original already, the remake is quite a boring watch. You can give this film a miss without a second thought.

Its just a replica of bollywood Hunter movie, except the scene between Avasrala srinivas and supriya is censored when compared with Hunter movie. Those who havent seen bollywood version can give a try.
