Synopsis : It's a stereotypical pot boiler that's routine but fun nevertheless, watch it for the gags, and to get a good look at Shruti Haasan's curvature.

Movie Review : The slap on the cheek must be one of Tollywood's favourite comic ploys and Brahmanandam has turned it - (getting slapped i.e.) - into a fine art. He has played the side-kick, who keeps getting slapped by the hero in countless movies, yet the audiences can't seem to stop themselves from bursting out laughing...more often than not. Guess we've just been conditioned to believe it's funny to see people getting slapped by our filmmakers who found a new quirk off late - packing in at least one flattering Pawan Kalyan reference.

Right in the beginning, we have that iconic horse riding scene from Gabbar Singh in a dream sequence, as if to let the Pawan fans among the audience a chance to hoot. However, Balayya fans on the other hand, haven't taken too kindly to an episode where Ravi Teja mimics the Nandamuri icon's dialogue delivery in a comedy scene.

But then Brahmanandam takes potshots at Allu Arjun's Matalu levu dialogue from Iddarammayilatho and is also seen grooving gangam style with Shruti. The climax has some outlandish jumping japang moments also rolled in. The filmmakers sure got all the bases covered on the "entertainment" front.

It's got quite a few Ravi Teja moments as well. Nee bajji peeki, nune lo vesi, cut chesi, cut mirchi chesestha (I will grab your bajji, fry it in oil and cut it and make cut mirchi out of it) goes a one liner. There are plenty of punch dialogues as well. Basic ga na voice ki base ekkuva, hand ki durada ekkuva, total ga ee body ki balupu ekkuva. . . Ye fear leni vadu endulonaina interfere avuthadu.... Needless to say, the Mass Maharaja carries off the tailor made role with his trademark panache.

He is at his comic best when playing a quirky loan recovery agent, Ravi in the first half and shifts gears to play a hot headed don, Shankar, in the flashback episode in the second half. It is revealed that Ravi and his dad (Prakash Raj) were "sworn enemies" vying with each other for becoming the most powerful don in Vishakapatnam. But Shankar falls in love with Anjali (Anjali), the daughter of Prakash Raj, who is livid. You will have to watch the movie to figure out why the two pose as father and son.

Shruti Haasan's clothes attract more attention than her acting. It's a glamorous role you see. Anjali and Prakash Raj carry off their role convincingly as does Ashutosh Rana. The music is typically peppy and the songs have a mass feel to them.

The movie does manage to dish out plenty of entertainment, even if it is of the lame and slapstick variety. You wouldn't go to a Ravi Teja movie expecting too much more. The movie manages to live up to the expectations, which seem to have slipped considerably after a spate of the actors recent movies which were well below par.

Note : It's a stereotypical pot boiler that's routine but fun nevertheless, watch it for the gags, and to get a good look at Shruti Haasan's curvature.

Saw in telugu and tamil. Nice movie. Fantastic performance. The scenes before and after the interval was having a rocking twist. Climax might have been a bit lengthy and doesnt make logical sense with jampang dances, but for sure it was a rib tickling comedy and heart warming acting from all the lead roles from start to end. Superb screenplay. Was quite like Baasha with quite an unexpected twist when i saw this first :) Kudos
