The film narrates the emotional lives of two different people and how they share a mysterious link.
Apart from its silly sequence that resembles an odd assortment of junk, it's the perhaps the title of the film
that seems very odd for a horror movie. The narrative never hints at the significance of the title, an otherwise well-known literary creation and a film.
The film comes across as a shoddy mix of tales, scenes and sequences mustered hastily from all that was once enjoyed and appreciated in some of the old blockbusters. Two people reach a bungalow and spooky figures emerge creating strange sounds. A feted writer is invited by a director to write the script for his new film and is brought to the bungalow where his experiences are odd and scary.
Mystery generates from characters that simply walk in and recount their quaint past. Sentiment is unearthed from the miserable losses they have endured in their life. Thrill happens when the characters stop smiling and start shrieking and frowning. As though these factors do not add up, a musical assault is launched stringing together songs one by one for reasons as mysterious as the narrative. All this sums up this slapdash of a movie full of badly stitched scenes.
