Review : How badly can a jack fruit tree hamper the friendship of two neighboring families, who have otherwise withstood tough times together for years? Hello Namasthe attempts to present a two-hour film out of this naive, puerile situation, by placing some good actors to deal with the emerging staid settings and silly conversations.

Friends and radio jockeys Madhav (Vinay Forrt) and Jerrin (Sanju Sivaram) buy two adjacent villas and settle there with their wives. They have supported each other during various challenging phases of their lives, but all of the great bonding gets disrupted by something silly - a jackfruit tree. The plot is hardly convincing and is the sorest chord in the whole film. Yes, a jack fruit tree as the central character is something novel but translating that thought into an entertaining film calls for some brilliant, non-cliched packaging, characterizations and a sensibly engaging screenplay, all of which are absent in Hello Namasthe . The end of the passable drama is also boringly predictable. However, the actors have done justice to their roles.

There is a gentle humour brigade led by Soubin and Joju whose histrionics save the film to some extent by retaining some interest, but that hardly helps the otherwise tasteless flick.
Once out of the cinema, there is hardly anything that one wants to recall from the movie.
