Boy meets girl after a chance encounter. They fall in love but the relationship suffers a setback when the guy asks the girl to marry him.

Review: Predictable love stories have become the flavour of the season in the Marathi industry. Most of these stories have revolved around two very different characters; be it young and old or childish and mature. This film is another addition to the list.

The story is about Ajinkya (Adinath), a lawyer with an interest in music, who is in search of a fresh face for his music video and Ovi (Sulagna), a chirpy and career-oriented banker who catches Ajinkya's fancy. From there on it's a typical romance complete with the involvement of families, song and dance, fights and reconciliations. The difference is that unlike traditional love stories where the girl and boy intend to get married, here the girl is against marriage and prefers a live-in relationship. Ajinkya, on the other hand, is keen on getting married and gets deeply hurt when Ovi refuses his proposal. Well, we all know that Ovi will eventually end up changing her mind, don't we?

In what can only be understood by die-hard romantics and mushy-film buffs, the film has many loose ends. Also, there are so many characters that none of them get a justified screen presence.

The first half lacks substance and is largely full of Sulagna's over-the-top childish portrayal of Ovi; you get fed up with it after a while. The second half engages you, but is a half-hearted attempt with a few twists and turns. Adinath fits the character as the shy and reserved lover boy but it is Suchitra Bandekar who brings comic relief with her punch lines.

Overall it is an average film and romantic film fanatics can fancy watching it once.
