A group of friends overdose on intoxicating bhang and try to trace back the misadventures they had on their way with some help from their hostel warden.
With the plot and even the name heavily inspired by the hit Hollywood flick The Hangover, 'Journey of Bhangover"Journey of Bhangover' is an exercise in how to ape a famous film and go horribly wrong in the process.
In the film, five college students ingest copious amounts of bhang. When they wake up, away from their hostel campus they realise that all is not well. Their campus warden Pandey (Hemant Pandey) tags along with them who later reminds them of their misadventures. But he does an absolutely trashy job of doing that because their misadventures are not funny at all. The ancillary characters introduced are just as dull, be it the goon named System or the terrorist Gafru (Jaideep Ahlawat). We can see that the director did have budgets given the item numbers, the drone cameras and the flashy costumes. Sadly, he did not invest in a story. Fine actors like Ahlawat and Yashpal Sharma are wasted in the roles assigned to them. With a completely guessable end, this film actually leaves you with an actual , live hangover. If you are looking for a funny flick to catch on the weekend, this is not it.
