Times of India
It's a case of a good storyline being marred by poor direction, dialogues and narration. The story revolves around three characters — Santhosh (Harish Kumar), Nandini (Deepa) and Rudra (Lokesh). Nandini is engaged to Rudra but she's in love with another boy, Rahul (Bullet Prakash). When Santhosh, a videographer, comes to the engagement function, she pours her heart out to him, seeking his help in escaping from the venue. How Santhosh helps bring the lovebirds together and how he becomes a Thyagaraja is the gist of the story.
Harish Kumar and Deepa need to learn the nuances of acting. Lokesh is ill suited to be the rough-and-tough groom. So is Bullet Prakash as Nandini's lover. Music by Ravi Basrur is average. The only person who deserves to be lauded is cinematographer Cinetech Soori. Though most sequences are shot in a single building, he's done a fabulous job.
