He is a hero in real life and has bagged his share of fame by climbing the hardest rocks and highrise buildings with much ease. But in reel life, Jyothiraj alias Kothi Raja, who made his debut as a hero, is not as exciting as one would expect.
Kothi Raja leaves his house at a tender age; saves Kamli (Aishani) from a brothel. She eventually falls in love with him and parents play the villains. Disheartened, Raja tries to end his life. Vaidehi (Deepika Das) comes as a saviour. She is too smitten by him. After a series of dramatic twists and turns, Raja decides to stay back on the rocks of the Chitradurga fort.
Mostly shot in Chitradurga and surrounding areas, the story is sprinkled with romance and sentiments and in the process, the focus on Raja's exceptional ability gets lost.
Jyothiraj fails to impress. Aishani's role is restricted to shedding tears in every scene. Deepika Das is good.
Deepak (Prateek) is looking for a job but is not ready to give up his casual attitude. Wherever he works, he incurs the wrath of his boss for his inefficiency to handle the assignment. Be it working on a new project or deal or taking foreign delegates to a village, Deepak along with his friend Manoj (Sunil) somehow manages to goof up.
