An ad film director meets a woman in Chikmagalur when he is there on a location hunt. He falls in love with both her and her writing. He convinces her to write a book, which ends up being published in his name. What happens then?
This film has a good looking pair, some amazing locations and nice cinematography. What fails the film is logic in the script and many moments that you wonder whether the happenings are for real. The film supposedly tackles multiple issues, which include the plight of people in North Karnataka, parental pressure on children and more. But, in most cases, it ends up being a mockery of the same.
The story moves in many jagged ways, making the narrative rather unappealing. The comedy track involving Mithra as the boss is unnecessary. The cameo by Avinash leaves you astonished, mainly due to the frivolous research that has gone in. One feels sad for lead actor Thandav, for he has good hope, but the film fails his potential.
Had the makers chosen to just release the Sparsha and Why Pay More songs as music videos, it would have probably been a better move.
