When Priya's father gives her an ultimatum of finding a suitable boy for herself within a year and a half, she declares to her friends that she has a boyfriend. Strangely, her imaginary boyfriend actually turns up one day.

Review: Guess the effect of the love bug bite hasn't deteriorated yet and now that we have lost count of the Marathi love stories that released this year, here is one more. This one has a fairytale romance as its premise.

Priya (Mrinmai) tells her college friends that she has a boyfriend, but in truth, she doesn't. When her friend Om, who has a crush on her, plans to bring out the truth at his birthday party, Priya storms out of there angry at being accused of lying. Om and her friends apologise and bring her back inside. All of a sudden enters Raj (Bhushan) a dreamy young guy who introduces himself as Priya's boyfriend. This comes as a surprise to her friends but as a shock for Priya who is unable to recognise this stranger. After a series of meetings, Priya starts falling for Bhushan.

For a young love story, the film does put forth a different take of youngsters about marriage. The songs are inspired by Bollywood love songs and are alright too. However, on the larger scale there nothing much for the film to boast of. It is beyond understanding how Priya doesn't even bother to ask Raj who he really is, after spending an entire day with him. Also not understandable is the introduction of random characters. A one-sided love affair evolving into a romantic love story is not new and it is still alright to revisit as a story. But what about the events that lead to the meeting of the lovers. What about explanations for other things apart from sudden shifts in the story?

Anyway, for debutant Mrinmai Kolwalkar this is definitely not the perfect launch. Bhushan Pradhan looks and acts every bit the charming gentleman who is willing to do everything for his lady, but his performance gets killed by a bad story and direction; a classic case of a mismatch.

Watch this one only if you really like cheesy romances and lame jokes.
