Achint and Shravya are best friends. Achint meets Shravya's married friend Hamsa, who is having relationship issues with her husband Pradeep. What happens when Achint starts developing feels for Hamsa?

Director Apurva Kasaravalli's debut vehicle explores modern-day relationships. All the characters come from upper middle-class settings and the film is glossy and rich in production values. With so much going for it you think everything would be perfect, but the film just falls short of that because of its length, which makes it seem over indulging in the narrative.

The film begins on a rather dramatic note, which leads the viewers to take a look at what happened in the lives of four people - a rock musician, a documentary filmmaker, a corporate honcho and his music-loving wife. The film explores the consequences of their paths crossing each others'.

The story and dialogues are good, as such, but one feels two of the characters have been shortchanged to accommodate the others, where many scenes seem longer than necessary. All that said, the film does portray the relationship between Hamsa and Achint in an interesting manner. The music by Niladri Kumar adds to the appeal, with each song lingering on in one's head long after the film is over.

The other highlights are the cinematography and re-recording, which do justice to the locales and settings. Bhavana, who has produced the film, has done justice to an author-backed role. Kiran Srinivas makes a good comeback. Rahul Bose is good, with his own dubbing, but one wonders if the role really required him. Aindrita Ray looks her best till date, but the role doesn't allow her to showcase more than being a glam doll, albeit her character being the most rational in the film in the little that we see of it.

This film is for those who love cinema in all its glory, with long laboured scenes, soulful music and good performances. If you are the sort who likes the fast-paced films of today, this might keep you restless on the seat at times.
