* A remake of Telugu movie Oka Romantic Crime Katha, the film gives viewers an insight into the vulnerable teenage mind. Though it makes a pertinent point, an overdose of violence takes away from the movie.
The film has three teenage girls as the protagonists. While Jyothi (Sonal) is the bold one who's not afraid to have a good time, the timid Meena (Poojashri) gets into a physical relationship with a boy who records the act and blackmails her for money. Not able to bear the humiliation, she ends her life by jumping from the college building. The third girl Thanu (Ashwini Chandrasekhar) falls in love with Sathya (Arun), who doesn't mind snatching chains to meet her demands. As the demands grow, he resorts to murder. The promiscuous Jyothi ends up getting pregnant but she doesn't know who the father of the child is.
Though the film conveys a strong message on misguided teenagers, the portrayal could have been better. To have a greater impact, the director could have minimized the violence and concentrated more on what goes on in young minds.
Poojashri, Ashwini Chandrasekhar and Sonal are equally brilliant. Arun is also impressive as insensitive murderer. Music by Rishal Sai and camerawork by Prabhu are okay.
