Where this leads the two friends forms the rest of the film.
Movie Review: For using the reference of a classic like Padamati Sandhya Ragam, the film is a disrespect to it. The amateurism is blatantly evident in the film. The entire film plays out in London which is also an injustice to the picturesque location. The movie is more about all of them being in London than anything else and nothing keeps you engaged for even a mere minute. You might as well be watching a tourist shooting a video on his outings in London.
The music is possibly the only thing that is bearable in the film which only seems to be damaged by the visuals. But there is reason to doubt if some sequences of it were merely templates. The shaky and out of focus camera work with not an ounce of framing can be noted by someone who has never held a camera even. The actors too live up to the amateurishness of the film as a whole. London Ganesh, the producer who also plays Venu is evidently passionate about filmmaking but is clueless about it. Kudos however, for getting the film out there anyhow.
The characters are extremely loosely written. It seemed much like the concept of “youngsters falling in love will roam London aimlessly” was first conceived and then working on the characters and other important things like script were forgotten thus. The dubbing hits you like a truck, especially because of it doesn’t sync with the video, and not to mention the fake accent that every second character puts on. Cringe-worthy indeed. Aakash does a cameo to play the messaiah who solves Aravind’s issues in love with one philosophical monologue.
This was clearly a poorly done effort to break into the industry. Don’t bother watching it.
