Times of India
Naidu (Mohan Babu), a tourist guide based in Bangkok lives with his three adopted sons. Sathya (Raveena Tandon), a restaurateur has two adopted sons. It turns out Naidu and Sathya were in love with each other in their youth. All hell breaks loose when the duo ties the knot and move in together, as their children just cannot stand each other.
: "Sathyamma, Sathyamma. I love you. You love me. I touch you. You touch me." So go the lyrics of a romantic song that Naidu (Mohan Babu) sings for his lady love, Raveena Tandon. Don't say you don't know her name in the film. If that doesn't amuse you, perhaps Ajay (Manoj) will, in a woman's get up trying to lure the men in a family. That indeed becomes unbearable after some time. What else can get you to become engrossed in the movie? Oh yes, Mohan Babu, jumps as high as the sky above (yes, that's an exaggeration) and kicks the villains. If you want to dismiss that as just fantasy, then be satisfied with the dance of his expressions (he doesn't forget to put his hand in his pocket though!).
Lest the description sound too dismissive about a movie in which Mohan Babu and his two sons Visnu and Manoj act, it must be said to the credit of the family that they do their best. Vishnu as Vijay impresses with his muscular look and expressions and Manoj as Ajay with his stunts. The only problem you have with the movie is that for the sake of comedy, you know some reality is being sacrificed. You might laugh at a joke once but the second time, you are tempted to laugh at the one who is trying to make you laugh, including the king of comedy Brahmanandam himself.
Naidu and Sathyamma cannot get married when they are young. But the children they adopt and bring up separately, all come to live together under one roof. Thanks to the initiative of Honey (Hansika), Naidu and Sathyamma get married. The villains descend in Bangkok where the families live and Honey is their target. They drag her back to India but not before Honey and Vijay fallen in love with each other.
In a village on the Andhra-Karnataka border, the story takes a different turn. The problem for Honey is that she has to get married to a family rival. Naidu masterminds an operation that lands all of them in the very house that Honey is kept and being readied for her wedding. The family has to be smart to achieve its goal of getting Vijay and Honey get married. For this to happen, Ajay has to make an entry into the house as a woman. Hansika gets a plum role and does justice and Pranitha has a semblance of a role in which she looks good.
The film appears to be an earnest effort from the Manchu family to give an entertainer. The movie does entertain up to a point. Not their problem if you can't digest the brand of humour that they dish out.
