Nothing good can be spoken about the movie.

This film talks about a particular place. This place is supposed to be the most happening part of the city of joy. By the word 'happening', it means every young girl is a drug-addict and sleeps around with everybody for money, the rich and powerful are either gay raping innocent boys or using a pimp to sleep with those girls, bored housewives having affairs with dance teacher-cum-pimps and their estranged husbands live in with their promiscuous girlfriends and one retired filmmaker searching for his one true love in a place where she often frequents wearing a silver wig.

Not only that, the characters continue to speak in English with horrible accents and the music director appears on-screen with his band members, singing nonchalantly beside the actors. These shots have been directly copied from Anurag Basu's Life In A...Metro but, unfortunately, while Pritam and his band members did those scenes with a panache, Shubhayu (the music director) makes it hilarious.

Welcome to the life in tackyville (the director of this movie claims it to be Park Street though), but never ever get misguided about the posters of the film which features actors like Soumitra Chatterjee, Debosree Roy or Shankar Chakraborty. These eminent actors must not have been in their right minds when they did this film. The filmmaker (Raj Mukherjee) takes one of the most talked about part in Kolkata as the subject matter of his film. Wise attempt no doubt. But while making the film, he totally kills the real essence and romance of the place.

Nothing good can be spoken about the movie. Forget the renowned names; young and aspiring actors like Drronn or Sruti along with their other co-stars' performances raise serious doubts about what'll happen to the Bengali film industry if these kinds of films continue to be made. If one can name a person called Gullu Miyaan as the king of Park Street , we can seriously assume that this film industry is going through a very bad phase. Otherwise, this film couldn't have been made.
