Huccha Venkat, a former underworld type, is all set to take the route to reform by starting his Sene. With plans of women's emancipation and helping the needy, he becomes the messaiah. Amidst this, he has a love story and also a tryst with politicians and cops.
Huccha Venkat's much awaited Porki Huccha Venkat is out. The film gained all the more publicity with Venkat singing songs from it during his stint on Bigg Boss Kannada. But, how exactly is the film? It is a far cry from entertaining. The crying, emotions, dialogues and presentation ensure you are left bewildered and often clueless too.
Venkat has tried to showcase his own socially responsible work and ideologies through this film. While he seems to think he has noble thoughts about women's upliftment and emancipation, his dialogues revolving his two lovers and his mother are more cringeworthy than laudable. He has, for good measure, used references to his idol late Dr Vishnuvardhan in many scenes, which evoke whistles. But, the film, in totality, isn't more than a whimper.
One would rather watch the Rahul Gandhi interview on women's upliftment instead for more entertainment.
