Times of India
Vijay played by Nadeem Khan and Reshma, played by Rubina Belim are two child hood friends who are separated by fate. Vijay, owing to strange circumstances finds himself in the clutches of law when he is sent to a remand home for a juvenile crime.
Luck has other plans for him when Vijay returns to his village and wants to reestablish his friendship with his childhood friend Reshma, who incidentally has forgotten about Vijay. After Vijya's attempts to rekindling friendship, love blooms between the two souls and that's what causes all the turbulence in the story.
The two warring villages who are against love marriages make life difficult for the love birds dreaming for a union. Now, how the young in love couple convince people against love and send across a message that it is love that should win and not narrow minded thinking by people in power is what director Barkat Wadhwania has tried to convey through the film.
Rubina is perky and a delight to watch on screen. Nadeem comes across as a fresh face which is very much needed in the industry. Chandan Rathod's guest appearance manages to capture attention. Two fresh faces definitely give a fresh appeal to the story. Cliches should have been avoided though.
