Salman Khan is one of the most bankable stars in B-town. But even the stars fail to make it to the silver screen. Let's take a look at these films which Salman Khan signed but couldn't see the light of another day.
Dil Hai Tumhara
In the year 1991, Salman Khan had signed Rajkumar Santoshi's film Dil Hai Tumhara which was supposed to have Sunny Deol and Meenakshi Sheshadri along with him in the lead. However, Santoshi signed another project that is Bobby Deol's debut film Barsaat because of which the film took a back seat and ultimately got shelved.
Sagar Se Gehra Pyaar
The film was announced having Salman Khan and Raveena Tandon in the lead but nothing happened there after.
Chori Mera Naam
The movie was at high buzz since it had stellar cast of Salman Khan, Suneil Shetty, Shilpa Shetty and Kajol but got shelved after half of the film was shot. However, a stunt sequence of Salman and Suniel was used for a beverage commercial.
Salman had shot for almost half of the film with his then ex-girlfriend Somi Ali but it got shelved for some reasons.
The movie, which was supposed to star Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor and Pooja Bhatt in lead, was supposed to be Sohail Khan's directorial debut in the year 1994. But after shooting half of the film, the team had to face some production issues as the film was going over budget and later got shelved.
Director Ketan Dhawan decided to make a family film after having signed Salman Khan, Sanjay Dutt and Armaan Kohli for this action flick in the year 1998 and thus, it was called off.
This Salman Khan's film alongside Sangeeta Bijlani and Nagma was announced but it never got made.
No Entry Mein Entry
The sequel to the hit comedy film No Entry was announced and Salman was supposed to play the double tole in the film but nothing happened thereafter and it has been in the news for several years now.
To recover the loss of Dil Hai Tumhara, Salman Khan was made to sign the film which was supposed to be directed by Rajkumar Santoshi yet again. Manisha Koirala was signed opposite Salman. But even before it could start its first schedule, the film got shelved.
Aye Mere Dost
Salman Khan started shooting for the film with a song recording which was supposed to star Arbaaz Khan, Divya Bharti and Karishma Kapoor in lead but it couldn't survive long. Ultimately it got shelved and the song was then used in Salman's another film Majhdhar (1996).
After Judwaa's success, Salman Khan was signed up for Anees Bazmees yet another double role film but the actor was skeptical about doing the film. Thus, it was dropped.
Raju Raja Ram
Directed by David Dhawan, the film was supposed to star Salman Khan, Jackie Shroff and Govinda but was called off when the production house went into financial crunches.
Salman Khan and Bhagyashree had signed a film together ‘Ran Kshetra’ right after their super hit film Maine Pyaar Kiya. But because of the actress' marriage, the film took a halt and ultimately got shelved.
