They say, as you grow up, you inherit the same qualities and profession as your parents. And in Bollywood, it is quite rampant, especially if you include all the talks of nepotism! Offering a different tale are Johny Lever and his two children-Jamie and Jesse!
Bollywood's best comedian!
Johny Lever is one of the best comedians in the Hindi film industry and there is no doubt about that! In an industry where comedy drives moviegoers to the theatres, Johny Lever is the first name you take!
Johny, who is married to wife Sujatha has two children-a daughter Jamie and a son names Jesse. While Jamie started her career as a marketing professional and moved on to do stand up comedy, Jesse never wanted to do comedy in the first place!
Following Dad's footsteps
Jamie began her career by performing acts at comedy clubs. Later, she went on to perform in the TV show, Comedy Circus Ke Mahabali as well. In no time, she established herslef as one of India's leading comedianne.
Hosting a TV Show
Jamie was also seen as a host on the recently concluded reality show Sabse Bade Kalaakar along with actor Jay Bhanushali.
In one of the episodes, we even saw Jamie acting with Johny. How adorably cute!
On the tour
What we may call as a treat for the audiences, Jamie even collaborated with father Johny for some shows.
Gaining some fame
As a comedienne, she has hobnobbed with the leading Bollywood actors and actresses and is highly appreciated for her skills, just like her dad!
Just like Dad!
Meet son Jesse. Doesn't he resemble a younger Johny Lever? Well, one thing is for sure, the Lever family is surely talented!
Not a funny man!
However, Jesse is a bit different from his dad and sister! He started out and tested his skills in comedy but was bogged down and instead, he found calling in the field of drama and acting, where he excelled in college.
F for Fitness
Jesse also concentrates on maintaining a fit and flexible body. He regularly posts photo of his workout on his Instagram page. What's more? He even has six pack abs!
Growing up strong
Jesse had a tough childhood growing up. In the year 2000, as a kid he was diagnosed with cancer and had a tumor around his neck. Luckily, he was treated well and he wanted to act as soon as he got finished with his Class 12 exams!
Gaining some skills
When he returned to India after completing his degree, he started his filmy career by assisting director Punit Malhotra, his very good friend and neighbour in the film 'Gori Tere Pyar Mein'. He even helped his dad in doing research work for his live acts.
Here's hoping that we get to see them on the big screen soon! They both have immense talent!
