Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt's Badrinath Ki Dulhania had a terrific Holi weekend and crossed the 50 mark crore in just four days of its release.

On Friday, it opened to a good start and minted Rs. 12.25 crore on the first day. On the second day, it witnessed an escalation in its collections which followed on the third day as well that added to its total. It collected Rs. 14.75 crore on Saturday and Rs. 16.05 crore on Sunday. However, the footfalls were decreased due to the Holi festivity but still managed to earn Rs. 12.08 crore on the fourth day taking its total collections to Rs. 55.13 crore.

Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share Badrinath Ki Dulhania box office collections. He wrote, "#BadrinathKiDulhania has a SUPERB Mon... Crosses ₹ 55 cr... Fri 12.25 cr, Sat 14.75 cr, Sun 16.05 cr, Mon 12.08 cr. Total: ₹ 55.13 cr."

The movie has also performed well in the international market and has now become the second highest 3-day opening movie of 2017. It collected $ 2.82 million [₹ 18.71 cr] overseas. It was released across 3000 plus screens in India.

Considering the fact that there is no big competition this week at the box office, Badrinath Ki Dulhania is expected to earn some good money in the days to come.
