Arshad, who tasted his first solo success with Jolly LLB, was replaced by Akshay Kumar in the sequel Jolly LLB 2. While he is always bombarded with questions around Jolly LLB 2, he has always praised Akshay's performance and the film's storyline. During the press conference of his upcoming film Irada, the actor was again asked the question whether he has liked the film or not. To which he had an interesting reply and jokingly told reporters, "I didn't like the film" adding that he has seen it and Jolly LLB 2 is not better than his upcoming eco-thriller Irada which also stars Naseeruddin Shah in lead role.
Arshad Warsi is popularly known for his role of Circuit in Rajkumar Hirani's Munna Bhai MBBS series but before the actor was in going through a difficult phase in his life. Recently, he opened up about his struggle when his films didn't work out and remained jobless for three long years and how his wife supported him in his difficult time. And just like there is always a sunshine after the dark clouds disappear from the sky, Arshad is also now in a steady phase in his career.
When we asked him how did he spend his days and how did he survived when he was jobless, Arshad, as jolly as he always is, answered our question with a smile on his face. "When you are jobless, you spend your day relaxing. There's nothing dramatic in it. It's all good," he told Filmipop.com
Soon after Munna Bhai MBBS, Arshad had a good line-up of interesting roles after his low phase and bagged films like Ishqiya and Golmaal series which boosted his popularity. "Everything has it's time. I was happy with Raju. I loved that film. He is a great director. It was fun doing it. It was like a second innings in my life I would say which is great," Arshad told Filmipop.com when we asked if he credits Raju Hirani for his achievements adding that it is very difficult for an outside to get into the industry.
