According to reports, the TV Rights of Akshay Kumar and Superstar Rajnikanth's 's 2.0 has been sold for a whopping price, which is a very huge deal. Zee Networks have purchased the broadcast rights of '2.0' for a massive 110 Crores. The deal will include all the 4 languages- Hindi, Tamil, Telegu in which the film will be releasing in.
The movie, which recently saw its first look being released, is already making waves with his exceptional budgets. The first look, which saw audiences wear 3D glasses to watch the preview costed the makers around 1 Crore.
Expensiveness is the new trend?
Thalaivaa's '2.0' which is a sequel to the 2010 steep hit 'Robot' is not the only film to spend a fortune for its promotions. Bollywood films are slowly opening up their pockets to make sure the film profits in the long run. Southern director S.S. Rajamouli's Baahubali and the next release, Baahubali 2 are also amongst the costliest films to have been made. Salman Khan's 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' and Aamir Khan's 'Dhoom 3' were also costly deals for the producers.
