Rajveer Deol, the younger son of Sunny Deol, is all set to make his acting debut in the romantic drama "Dono." However, his family initially discouraged him from pursuing a career in the unpredictable movie industry. Despite this, Rajveer was drawn to acting due to his exposure to the world of cinema from a young age.

"My parents never wanted me to become an actor. They wanted me to study and pursue a different path because this industry is so unpredictable. You can experience euphoria one moment and despair the next," Rajveer confessed during the trailer launch of "Dono," attended by his uncles Bobby Deol and Abhay Deol, as well as his father Sunny Deol.

Growing up in a family of actors, Rajveer found himself enamored with acting. He admired the way actors could transform themselves into various characters and decided to follow his passion. His family advised him to focus on becoming an actor first and not just a star, emphasizing the importance of dedication and hard work.

Rajveer credited his father, Sunny Deol, for instilling in him the values of dedication and determination, emphasizing his father's unwavering commitment to his craft.

Sunny Deol, who had seen "Dono," expressed a mix of pride, joy, and apprehension as a parent. He described the film as a modern-day love story, comparing it to his own production, "Socha Na Tha," and commended the director's portrayal of weddings and relationships from the younger generation's perspective.

Dharmendra, who joined the event virtually, noted the significance of Rajveer's debut with Rajshri Productions, reminiscent of his own film "Jeevan Mrityu" with the same banner.

Poonam Dhillon, who plays a role in the film, expressed her happiness about the on-screen chemistry between Rajveer and Paloma, who is making her debut alongside him. Paloma appreciated her parents' support for her career choices.

Rajveer deliberately chose to debut in a romantic drama, defying expectations of him following in his family's action-packed footsteps. He stressed the importance of establishing his own identity in the industry.

Director Avnish, son of renowned filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya, felt the weight of responsibility to uphold his family's legacy and create a film everyone could be proud of.

"Dono" is set to release in theaters on October 5, and it promises to be a film that combines tradition and contemporary perspectives on love and relationships.
