Veteran actress Mumtaz joyfully celebrated her 76th birthday surrounded by her loving family, including her husband Mayur Madwani, children, and grandchildren. The cherished moments of her birthday celebration were shared on her Instagram account, where she posted heartwarming videos and pictures.

Mumtaz, born in 1947, embarked on her Bollywood journey as a child artist in the 1958 film 'Sone Ki Chidiya.' However, it was her role alongside Rajesh Khanna in the movie that truly catapulted her career to new heights. She went on to star in several successful films alongside Rajesh Khanna and Dharmendra, becoming one of the most beloved on-screen pairs of her time.



Her talent and dedication were recognized by the film industry, earning her the Best Supporting Actress award for 'Bal Brahmachari' and the prestigious Filmfare Best Actress award for the 1970 release 'Khilona.'

Known for her exceptional dancing skills, Mumtaz was hailed as one of the finest dancers in the industry, even giving tough competition to Helen's dance moves. Despite her success, she decided to leave the limelight after marrying businessman Mayur Madwani in 1974, focusing on her family and moving to Mombasa and later to London.

In her personal life, Mumtaz's daughter Natasha tied the knot with Feroz Khan's son, making her the mother-in-law of actor Fardeen Khan.

During her 50s, Mumtaz bravely battled breast cancer and emerged victorious, proving her resilience and strength. Today, she enjoys a healthy and fulfilling life.
